multiple clicks on the camera

It's so fascinating how so many images in a session look so similar yet they are different. Each click surely represents a moment in time.

i made a little video

anthropomorphic ancestry video

As a video, Anthropomorphic Ancestry, unfolds as a layered, frequent repetition of thematic fragments and narrative, like a sonnet with an emotional pace and flow. Its 54 images seamlessly combine an archived mode of photography with its capacity for subtle observations, discreet use of theatrical staging and painterly poise of each character. Despite the fact that they are purely a series of photographs, they, just like
the foxes present in them, seem to come to life as they become animated.

zephyrus and the harpies feud over chloris

in this narrative, all is personified
On an Island, in the far west of the whole land, Boreas, Zephyros, Notos and Euros star as the invisible troublesome anemoi causing havoc and gusting over Chloris. They were no match for Lucia Mocnay starring as the harpies, where she whirlwinds back and is able to keep Chloris for herself. Also starring fox Miss Flora Herbarium (made by Lucia Mocnay) as Chloris. Playing with themes of anthropomorphism and here inspiring greek mythological hybrid, the harpy, in a modern day version of a tale. This set of photographs took us to the western suburbs of Victoria, to a destroyed and abandoned bluestone building in the beginning of spring.
